Dr. Gerald Berkowitz

The Friday night plenary speaker for the first New England Cannabis Research and Education Conference, Dr. Gerald Berkowitz, has been a professor of Plant Science at UCONN for the past 40 years. His address on Oct. 21, 2022 was titled: “Molecular Analysis of Cannabinoid Biosynthetic Genes: How Hormones, Environmental Signals and Transcription Factors Can Increase the THC (or CBD) Content of Cannabis.”
