Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan announces border to remain closed due to COVID-19 | 7NEWS


Premier Mark McGowan revealed on Thursday 20th January 2022 that Western Australia’s border opening date will be pushed back indefinitely due to the threat of COVID-19 variant Omicron.

Fortress WA was set to fall on February 5th 2022, but Mr McGowan called a snap press conference late on Thursday to announce the opening would be delayed.
