First up: It is, indeed, a great day to be a Bronco as FOX 17 reports that in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the city’s first drive-thru recreational cannabis dispensary has now opened. Originally opened in June to medical cannabis patients, Compassionate Care By Design has now expanded to allow recreational retail.

“We are the first place in southwest Michigan to offer a drive-thru option which is great. We are offering medical products to recreational products,” said the Compassionate Care By Design Store Manager Vanessa McKenzie.

In adapting with the times, Compassionate Care By Design is also offering contactless order pick-ups for customers.

“The order gets placed. We then send you a text. It’s done via online through our website to place your order. We will let you know when your order is ready. Then you can come to the location to the drive-thru to pick it up,” said McKenzie.

And next: The Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program has issued a recall for a medical cannabis product named Encore Edibles. This according to Cleveland 19.

According to the release, the Encore Edibles flavor specifically named in the recall is Dark Chocolate Indica. Encore Edibles are produced by the brand Mother Grows Best.

The Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program recommends that anyone who purchased this product between August 17 and October 1 return any unused product to the place of purchase.

Fortunately, no one has yet to report falling ill due to the products, according to the release.

Last up: Germany’s medical cannabis market has gotten a little bigger now that flower from Uruguay has entered the region for the first time. In 2019, MJBizDaily reported on cannabis exports being quietly shipped from Uruguay to Portugal. At the time, the shipments’ final destinations were unknown, until now.

Tilray, a cannabis producing subsidiary of the German company Nanaimo, began selling its “Tilray Cheese Quake” indica-dominant cannabis flower in the German market at the end of September.

Frank Farnel, director of government and public affairs for Tilray in Europe, confirmed to MJBizDaily that the flower was grown in Uruguay by a third party, imported by Tilray’s Portuguese subsidiary, processed at the company’s European Union-Good Manufacturing Practice-certified facility in Portugal, then shipped from Portugal to Germany.
